The Importance about Knowing, Trusting, Relying, and Committing to a Date

Hello everyone, I hope you all readers are having a wonderful week and having a wonderful time with families, friends, and loved ones. So today what I learned in my Family Relations class on campus is my professor asked us students this interesting question and it helped me dig deep into this topic more the question was Why Date? So I’m going to share with you some interesting examples and ways that prove why we need to date and what great rewards we get from it and I’m going to share with you some experiences to also prove why dating is such a wonderful activity to do on this earth.

So dating is an activity that deals with two people who have a deep affection for each other which deals with 2 individuals or a group of individuals. Dating comes in many ways where we go to wonderful places such as walking through a garden, swimming at the beaches, having fun singing at karaoke, bowling, drawing beautiful pictures together, going to the museum to learn of different histories and each other, volunteering and serve at different food or animal shelters, and one of my favorites going to dances and dinners.

Dating is such a wonderful thing but to go a little bit forward into this in order for dates to be wonderful and have a great time with the person you are with here is a method I learned from my marriage class last semester. This method is called the Relationship Attachment Model or R.A.M created by John Van Epp and this method has helped me to get a relationship and stick with that relationship through thick and thin. The R.A.M model has 5 different steps and levels that help get a relationship going and it changes level depending on how good the relationship is going these steps/levels are Know, Trust, Rely, Commit, and Touch. Knowing is when you are knowing the person so well while dating that’ll leads to trust bonding and then it goes to reliability when it comes to knowing the person and trusting the person so well then with know, trust, and rely then upon leads to commitment to be with each other from the beginning till the end and the last part touch such as physical touch. When I met my girlfriend I had to follow these steps I needed to know interesting things about her, and she and I needed to show and build a trusting bond, we then grow to rely on the that we will always be there for each other, and then we commit to being close together no matter what and we planning to get married and have plans for wonderful dates. I love this woman with all of my heart and to be honest, there are going to be times in life were our relationship will be tested but I’m I going to leave her NOPE because I want to go to any lengths to keep this relationship going and my promises I made to her was this one I told her, “I shall keep this as an oath because I trust you and I know you so well and I will commit to being with you till never because I want to give you a life of eternal happiness.” And when you guys and gals out there who read this want to have a date just remember IT MUST ALWAYS GO BOTH WAYS what I mean by that is if a relationship is going to work the man and woman must do their part to do everything together and work together to know each other through conversation, build a trust bond, rely on each other no matter what, and then once the time feels right to commit that you will love each other till the end, and have a happy marriage.

For the scripture for today’s blog is Matthew 16:19 which reads, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
